1. Booking Your Flight!
Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Kathmandu – Your first step to Nepal Yoga Festival is booking a flight to Nepal.
No matter where you’re flying from, there is a major carriers like Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines ,Singapore Airlines & many more.
We suggest that participants plan to arrive one to two days prior to the Festival date.
2. Visa Information
Visa on Arrival: For many countries, Nepal offers a ‘Visa on Arrival’—how zen is that? Just bring your passport, a couple of photos, and some USD for the visa fee.
Plan Ahead: For an even smoother experience, apply for your visa online here before you come.
3. From Kathmandu International Airport to the Pokhara City
All NYF packages include airport transportation. To learn more about packages check out our Ticket & Package page.
For anybody travelling on their own to our festival you can use below information for your comfortable journey.Once you arrive to Kathmandu International Airport you can either take domestic flight to pokhara or via road.
For Domestic Flight you can take a short walk towards Domestic Terminal or get an assistant at information desk. Flight from Kathmandu to pokhara is 25-30 min. Estimated Cost for Domestic Flight from KTM -PKR USD 210
Another option is to stay overnight at Kathmandu for which you can take pre-paid taxi to your hotel and book your next day trip to pokhara via Tourist bus or private vehicle. Any more information regarding Transportation please enquire your Hotel Reception. Distance from Kathmandu to pokhara is 200km via road which nearly takes 6-7 hrs travel time.
Note: Maximum Baggage allowance is 20Kg / 44 pounds for Domestic Flights + Hancarry is 5Kg /11 Pounds.

4. From Pokhara City to our Venue

Taxi Time: Once you land to pokhara Airport. Grab a pre-paid taxi right outside the terminal. Negotiate a fair price and zip through the bustling streets to the festival grounds. Estimated price for Pre-Paid Taxi USD 10-USD 15 for 8Km.
If you are travelling via road. From the bus stop you can take regular taxi to your designation hotel .
FREE SHUTTLE service is available from designated location during 4 day festival.
5. Essentials for an Elevated Experience
Travel Light, Travel Right: Bring comfy clothes for yoga, a sturdy pair of shoes for exploring, and layers for those cool Himalayan nights. In October, daytime highs can reach around 23°C to 27°C (73°F to 81°F), while nighttime lows can drop to around 15°C to 18°C (59°F to 64°F).
Charge Up: Don’t forget your chargers and a universal adapter to keep your devices powered up for those Insta-worthy moments.
